Weekend Stories for Preschoolers: Have fun at the library and get your child ready to read!

Weekend Stories is a program for children 3 -5 years old and their parents or caregivers to encourage reading. In this special six session series, families and friends will enjoy stories and activities to encourage the development of early literacy skills. Families will receive FREE books and other materials to continue the learning and fun at home.

 

WHEN:  Saturdays, October 1, 15, 22, 29 and November 5, 2011.

WHERE:  Macon Library @ 11:00 AM, 361 Lewis Av. at Macon St., (718) 573-5606

 

There are only five more sessions left of this amazing free program, and there are heaps of giveaways and fun songs and activities for the whole family. The program is made possible through the support of the Altman Foundation and the First Five Years Program.
