National Night Out Against Crime 2011

TONIGHT!!!

Tuesday, August 2nd, the 28th Annual National Night Out Against Crime (NNO) will kickoff! Between 12:00PM – 8:00PM, this National Event will be held at:

  • 79th Precinct @ Herbert Von King Park (670 Lafayette Avenue);
  • 81st Precinct @ PS 21 (180 Chauncey Street); and
  • 88th Precinct @ Fort Greene Park.

It will be a day of food, entertainment, games, and events, and you will get a chance to meet your neighbors, local officials, and local safety officers.

NNO is a community policing event to help foster strong communities and a healthy and vibrant relationship between residents, businesses, and local police. Last year’s National Night Out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2010.
